Sam Claflin is rumored to be a new Hunger Games cast – former victor Finnick Odair. The much coveted role will be featured in the movie sequel Catching Fire.
Hunger Games Cast
Claflin, whose latest project was Snow White and the Huntsman opposite Kristen Stewart, is reportedly to be Lionsgate’s preferred actor to play Finnick Odair in the film and is nearing an offer, according to Variety.
Tributes know that Finnick Odair is the eye-catching former winner of the Hunger Games who will become Katniss and Peeta’s unlikely partner in the Quarter Quell. He was only 14 years old when he was chosen in the reaping and is one of the youngest victors of the games.
Lionsgate had no comment on the Hunger Games cast rumor, said the report, though he is on the studio’s shortlist for the role.
