Tony Shalhoub is reportedly close to bag the role of Beettee, a Hunger Games cast. He is a former tribute from District 3 known as an inventor for building weapons through the use of electricity.

Shalhoub, who was seen lately in HBO’s Hemingway & Gellhorn alongside Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman, is said to be the front-runner, according to Variety.
Jena Malone’s character, Johanna Mason, called the tribute “Volts” due to his ability to use voltage as his weapon. He has the skill to generate a force field which will play a big part in the next film’s Quarter Quell.
Shalhoub is comfortable with the spotlight on as he has appeared in Men in Black and Spy Kids.
He will probably be a good addition to the Hunger Games cast as he brings to the table his acting prowess, notably with his 3 wins in the Emmy’s.
