The Hunger Games movie snagged 9 wins in the 14th annual Teen Choice Awards. Surfboards were handed out to the cast representing their trophy. The event was hosted by Glee’s Kevin McHale and X Factor judge, Demi Lovato.
Teen Choice awards are voted on by the fans. Lovato revealed that 130-plus million votes were cast.
Hunger Games cast, Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence, were named as the Choice Movie Actor and Actress in Sci-Fi/Fantasy, respectively. Lawrence together with Hutcherson, surprisingly got the Choice Lip Lock as well.
The film also got the nod in the Choice Book and Choice Movie: Sci-Fi/Fantasy categories while Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Alexander Ludwig bags the Choice Movie Scene Stealer and Choice Movie Villain, correspondingly.
