Josh Hutcherson Grabs First Award for Hunger Games

There are a lot of happenings around the The Hunger Games cast after its successful screening. Some moved on by joining other films, while others became covers of magazine, has done interviews in talk shows and more. Of course, Josh Hutcherson is not exempted from that  privilege as he bags the first ever award for the Hunger Games movie.

This award that Josh Hutcherson received is a NewNowNext award category “Next Mega Star” from Logo TV which happened last Thursday. The other Hunger Games cast as of now are empty-handed when it comes to awards but who knows what’s going to happen in the near future.

Josh Hutcherson’s words on winning the award:

This is so much better than the Oscars. I get so bored at those award shows.

For me, I just love making movies, and the fact that anybody shows up to them is just a bonus.

At the awards night, there are also talks about the much awaited best kiss trophy given out by MTV awards every year.

(Rob Patt and Kristen) was so passionate. Ours was like I was on my deathbed, wasn’t very sexy. I don’t know. We’ll see. Maybe, I’d be so lucky. One can only hope!”

The above was his comment on the upcoming battle between last year’s winners Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and the kissing scene in The Hunger Games that he and Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) did. He also talks about the odds on getting the award for best kiss.
